Paper Pieced Flying Geese Quilt

This pretty little quilt top is made with both paper pieced and regular flying geese quilt blocks. The combination of the two makes for a very dynamic quilt with a lot of movement.  The background fabric with its small dot gives visual interest as well as a look of texture to the quilt.  Notice the small scale of the patterns in the fabric, necessary because of the small size of the geese.  There is a lot of room in the center of the blocks for an interesting quilting design.
