Small Squares with Churn Dash Block Quilt

This is a very scrappy quilt, with a limited color scheme.  Once you isolate the Churn Dash quilt block, you can see how the small squares fit between them.  The small squares  are made similar to the Irish Chain Quilt block. Notice how both the small square patches and Churn Dash corner have dark colors.  When the dark colors meet, a larger square is formed. You could make this quilt one block at a time as you collect scraps. It would look great with lots of different colors.
