The Connector Quilt Block
clipart picture of a grouping of connector quilt blocks

The Connector Quilt Block is a very simple quilt block with a lot of impact. As you can see from the the grids of the connector quilt blockpicture to the left, this is a 9-patch quilt block. There are 5 squares and 4 half square triangles in this block. All you have to do is decide the size of your patches, and then make your half square triangles and squares, and sew them together using good piecing techniques.
This quilt block looks best scrappy. If you were to make them all the same, the sides would just blend together. However, you could separate them with lattice and cornerstones.

Another thing to consider is that this block is is chunky.  It will look better when you place it other blocks.
