Half Square  Jewel Tone Triangles

Jewel Tone Half Square Triangle Quilt

This beautiful quilt is made with a lot of Half Square Triangles.

There are also a lot of jewel tones and unique fabrics used in this quilt.  The black "calms" down all the different prints, and ties the quilt together.

The repetition of the fabrics in the different parts of the block also give the eye a sense of order while it travels around the block.

Notice how the border fabric does not seem to appear in any of the blocks.  However, if you look carefully, you will see it in the center block.

This quilt has  beautiful ethnic look, and is a great example of what you can do with half square triangles.
