 Log Cabin Dinosaur Quilt

There are many ways to put log cabin quilt blocks together.  When you put solid white on one side of the log cabin quilt block, and then put the quilt together with the white sides touching,  it gives you the opportunity to do something special in the large open white areas.

This is an adorable novelty quilt for a young child.  Appliqué is used in the center white areas.  You can use anything you want to highlight in the white areas.  The dinosaurs work well because they are large and the scale is good for the quilt. There are a lot of fabrics in this quilt, which makes it a great way to use up fabric and a great scrappy quilt.
