Red and Blue Squares Quilt

Here is a very snuggly looking quilt, made with just a few prints.  It has a structured pattern for the squares, referred to as "Trip around the World."  You can pick up one of Eleanor Burns books on Amazon to see how it is done.  (There are usually a lot of used copies of her book "Trip Around the World" that only cost a few dollars.)

The colors in this quilt are what make it look so inviting.  The wide border also adds the look of warmth.  Plaids and flannel fabrics work well in this type of a quilt.  This quilt would look great machine quilted or simply tied.
