 Scrappy Diamonds

This quilt block is a very easy way to use leftover bits of fabric.  As you can see from the picture, the whole block is made from half square triangles.   Put together with the darker fabrics in the positions show in the picture, thehalf square triangles form diamonds.  When these blocks are put together, you can see how these blocks made a secondary pattern.  This is a great way to use leftover pieces of fabric to make a great old-fashion looking scrappy quilt.
