Vintage Prints and
Quarter Square Triangles Quilt

This is a darling quilt made from just two quilt blocks- a fancy cut square, and a quarter square triangle quilt block.  It is so easy, yet looks great.  The alternating blocks give the quilt a lot of different looks.  You can view the quilt as Ohio Star blocks, or you can see how some of the prints look like they are a square in a square.

This design is so versatile because you can highlight anything in the fancy cut squares. The quilt is also pulled together by the use of a small dot fabric in both the light and the dark solid prints. Notice also the straight stitching to finish the quilt that can easily be done at home with your sewing machine.
